Overview

Ornate medal with a golden coating, bearing a raised silver shield at its centre engraved with the initials 'J.N.' The reverse side has the maker's stamp and silver stamps. Etched into the medal are the following words: 'I.F.C. to J. Newman Unselfish Play 1903.' It is uncertain which sport or club is referred to. There is a small ring above from which the medal could be suspended.
