c. 1890 - 1900A coloured photograph of a street with a brick and tin roof building on the left and a brick building with a tin roof on the right. There a few other buildings built either side of the street. In the foreground is a railway crossing with wooden boom gates.
The photograph is of Clive Street Katanning before 1900, there is no Baptist Church in view which was built in 1900 in Carew street. In the background are vineyards and Kobeelya House is also visible.

On the back of the postcard stamped in purple ink is "A.& J. COATE 21 South Coast Hwy, ALBANY W.A. 6330".
On the back of the postcard handwritten in blue ink is "1890s".
On the back of the postcard printed in green lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line is "PRINTED IN GREAT BRITAIN" and underneath this line are two columns, the left hand column heading is "For correspondence" and the right hand column heading is "The Address only to be written here".
