MANOLIKOS HOME, 19 KING STREET CLAREMONT
c. 1950B/W print. A brick and tile Californian style bungalow, with light rendered upper portion and lower brick. There is a garage on the right hand side and a front porch with limestone pillars. Shrubs and flowers are along the front of the house and a low brick fence. A street tree is on the left. Written on the back [Built in 1939].
Jack Manolikos was a Bay View Terrace 'personality' for many years. As owner of the Claremont Fish Supply he was the provider of 'fish & chips', virtually the only 'take-away' food of the era, for the district. Jack Married Kathleen Kikiros in 1939.
