(A) Knife has a curved stainless steel blade, 2 prong end and an ivorine handle with ridged ferrule. The makers name etc is incised on the blade.
(B) Navy blue box with badly worn gold surrounds and white print. One end of the box is missing

Inscriptions and markings

The knife has oval printing around Crown and Royal Cipher = “Viner’s Ltd/ Sheffield.” and across the centre of this “ Cutlers to H.M. The King.” running lengthways on the knife blade. Closer to the handle and printed crossways across the blade the words Stainless Deluxe.

On the sides of the box is printed "Sheffield CHEESE KNIFE Stainless. On the narrow side "Made in Sheffield England" is printed in white.
