Victoria Park Foreshore
Painted in 2021 during covid times on Victoria Park foreshore
Artist statement: 11 En Plein Air Perth artists, 6 full sheets of watercolour paper, palettes of paints and a mix of brushes, stepped up on a chilly early morning at the Victoria Park foreshore of the Derbal Yerrigan, on the land of the Whadjuk Noongar people and applied their watercolours to create a panorama. Rotating every few minutes, each artist, followed on from the previous, to bring their vision to the artwork. An experiment in cooperation and collaboration

I teach watercolour painting at Tresillian Arts Centre and Beaufort St Community Centre and all the participants have been my students over the past 20 years. My website is: www.suehibbertwatercolour.com
We started a Plein Air Painting group to encourage and support each other's continued development and passion for art and give back to the community by promoting art.
