Clear glass tumbler with a white transfer showing decimal coin currency and equivalents in pre-decimal currency. . The glass has straight sides and a slightly fluted pattern around its base.

Historical information

Australia initiated the change to decimal currency in 1963, and it was officially introduced on 14th February 1966. A publicity campaign was undertaken in the print media, radio and television. A range of products were issue to commemorate the event and assist the public, including currency convertors, coin sets and souvenirs.
