This ashtray was from the ladies lounge at the Railway Hotel. It was used and souvenired by Pam Herbert who worked at the Railway Hotel in c1971-2. The ashtray represents a time when it was socially acceptible to smoke in public indoor venues, a practice that is no longer socially acceptable or legal.
