Statement of significance

This black and white team photograph is significant for recording the West Subiaco Football Team, and their success as 'Runner's Up' in this particular season. Significantly, many of the players are associated with prominent families and businesses of Subiaco, Jolimont and Daglish at this time, and the photograph records when the suburbs was known as 'West Subiaco' rather than Shenton Park.
