1923The original sepia image features scenes of the general public at the unveiling of the Subiaco War Memorial. It was taken amongst the crowd in the park around the Memorial, with a group of four children as the main subject. The girls are wearing white dresses, socks and hats, with the smallest girl pointing at the camera. The boys are wearing shorts and long socks, hats and white shirts. Most of the adults are formally dressed with the ladies wearing large brimmed hats. There are several groups sitting on the grass. Houses are shown in the background. The Society holds negative and copy (B); (A) and (B) original sepia photographs.
