C.W.A. BANNER HANGER EXTENSION
c. 1995A length of wooden dowelling, with a white plastic covered hook, screwed into the side of it, near the top to hold the banner COA2019-12. The dowelling is an extension which fits into a hollow metal tube attached to the base.
The banner was made by CWA Kelmscott branch member Mrs Wilma Craggs in the 1990s. It was a copy of a previous banner that had been made from Hobbytex paints which were cracking and falling apart. The new banner is made of poplin fabric with a variety of embroidery stitches.
