There is a Ceremonial stone inlaid in the pavement celebrating fallen French soldiers in the right hand foreground, with flower offerings. The soldiers are standing to attention in front of the wall of another memorial with the emblem of an eagle. There is detail in the background of tall houses. The inspection is led by General Petain. Handwritten on the back: 'Les Cadets Australiens - du soldat Inconnu' (unknown soldier).
