The original black and white image shows a group of six men in military uniform holding rifles. Four are standing in back row, with two seated cross legged on the ground in front. All wear hats and jackets of various types, some being more detailed with buttons and military insignia than others. There is a Glastonbury bag and a small box on the ground next to the group. The photograph was taken out of doors with bushland in the background.
