SUITCASE: GLOBITE

c. 1935
Overview

A medium size suitcase used for packing clothes for family holidays. The case is well worn but still useable. It has the word "MOORE" in black letters on the lid between the two fasteners that closed the lid. The handle is placed on the bottom section, just under the lid's edge. All corners are capped with a protective corner piece. The interior is badly stained, dirty with some tears. The suitcase was used by the Moore family for holidays to Busselton, Bunbury and Albany. The family travelled by train or private car.
