Bill Mitchell Shield

This event records the annual winners of the Bill Mitchell Shield, the major annual trophy of the Monday Old Boys Competition.
The event is 36 holes of stroke play conducted over two Mondays with the best nett score determining the winner of the Shield.
To qualify for this event players must be a MGGC club member, 55 years of age or older, and have played a minimum of 10 Monday 'Old Boys' competitions during the year. There has been one exception to the 10 rounds in 2020 when the Covid 19 pandemic restricted the playing of golf.
