The perpetual trophy recognises the winners of the Bill Mitchell Shield. Winners' names appear on gold crests attached to the main stem of the trophy.
The main trophy is wooden in the shape of a truncated wedge tapering from the front to the back. A plastic golfer is fixed to the top of the trophy.
