Certificate of Discharge for Lance Sergeant Aubrey John Akrill BECKLEY, No. 1673. BECKLEY enlisted in the AIF on the 24/06/1915, age 27 years, with the 28th Battalion, 2nd Reinforcement. On the 3/11/1916, while serving in France, Jack was wounded in action, (gun shot wound to his right thigh). He was admitted to hospital in England, and on the 4/6/1917 he returned to Australia, and was discharged on the 16/07/1917.
