Fan
c. 1930A hand held fan of a large weir and on each bank is bush. On the top of the weir is a walkway and there is a tower on one of the weir pillars. The picture on the cardboard is slotted into a wooden handle at the front and stapled along the back handle.
The fan is advertising the business of A.G. Hobbs; a bakery which operated from Hobbs Lane in Katanning. The lane ran off Daping Street, Katanning.

On the back of the fan above the handle in brown printed lettering is "'Keep Cool & let us Bake it for you'" and underneath is "With Compliments from A.G. HOBBS".
On the back of the fan below the handle in brown printed lettering is "BAKER & PASTRYCOOK" and below is "KATANNING" and below this line is "Phone 63", then a star and then "Phone 63".
Hobbs bakers operated from Hobbs lane in Katanning. Lane ran from Daping String.
