1998Black and white photograph of a large corrugated metal building. A sign for 39 Hood Street is seen at the front of the bulding, attached to a chain link fence. In the foreground, a wide expanse of road is seen. Two large roller doors are present at the left of the metal building. One of the two doors has been raised. A regular sized door, towards the right side of the building, is seen open also.
This building in c1940s was owned by Volvo and used to make and repair marine engines. Now used as a store for packaged items by Australian Fine China.
