1942A sepia photograph of a head and shoulders of a lady. The photograph is stuck on white card which then gives it a one centimetre border and then mounted on dark green to brown cardboard. The lady has light wavy hair, is wearing a pearl necklace and a dress with a collar and a lace rosette at the point of the v shaped neckline.

On the front bottom right hand corner in black lettering is 'F. Martyn Katanning W.A.'
On the back of the photograph hand written in pencil is 'Taken in my workroom by F. Martyn June 1942 Mable Martyn'
Mrs Mable Martyn was the wife of Frank Martyn who ran a successful photography business in Katanning.
