Mehn Mahn - Grain Carting
c. 1920A black and white photograph of a team of six horses carting sacks of grain on a wagon, the are three layers of stacked bags. There is a young man wearing a white shirt with sleeves rolled up and long dark pants standing next to the wagon. The photograph is taken at the junction of two roads. The photograph is framed in a rectangular wood frame with raised pattern border, light colour gold, coloured border on inside of frame.
The property "Mehn Mahn" was established by Eli Quartermaine Jnr (son of Elijah Quartermaine, the first European settler of Katanning) and it passed to his son Walter William.
