Overview

Single barrel, muzzle loading shotgun, made by I Hollis & Sons 1850 - 60.
8 - 10 gauge. Some signs of wear on stock.
Cross hatch patterning on waist of stock.
Brass inlay of 2 x 1.5cm on underneath of stock.
Some pitting and faint design on trigger guard.
Flintlock mechanism decorated with some pitting.
First third of barrel hexagonal shape joining near end of stock with brass inlay. Ramrod incomplete and brass ramrod lock malfunctioning and loose.
Brass end to stock support of barrel. Barrel has angular support which also holds loops for ramrod insertion. Small brass screw on end of barrel.
