PHOTOGRAPH: AMATEUR THEATRE PRODUCTION
Sepia photograph
Front: The photograph shows a large cast in costume assembled on the stage. The players are all women in a variety of guise, both masculine and feminine. The backdrop features a cottage, and the wings and the piece of material across the top of the stage representing the proscenium arch feature an effect of trellis overgrown with roses. There is a piano in the lower left hand corner of the image. A boy's head and shoulders can be seen in the right foreground in front of the stage.
