Historical information

On May 8th, 1986 the 150th Birthday Cup was held at the Toodyay Racecourse to celebrate Toodyay's 150th Birthday.
There was no admission charge and prizes were awarded for the Belle of the Meeting, the best ‘Ticket of Leave’ couple, best group of convicts, and best ‘Gentry couple’.
The "Lucerne Patch Restaurant” advertised a special “Pioneer” menu for the day with mutton chops a feature.
