Overview

The attachment shows a song sheet used by the metropolitan men's pennant teams. Two songs are shown.
The first "Melville Glades Pennant Song" is sung to the tune of "When the Saint's Go Marchin In".
The second "Pennant - La De Da" is sung to the tune of "Jolly Good Company" with the lyrics being very close to the original.
This sheet was used in 1986 when the donor, Frank Davies represented the B grade metropolitan pennant team. The songs were sung when the teams returned to the Melville Glades clubhouse on a Sunday afternoon after a round of pennant matches.
