Overview

The Iphone has black edging. The screen is rectangular inside the black edging. At the bottom of the Iphone is a round sensor button with a white square in the sensor button. At the top on the front is a slit. Has silver metal surrounding the phone. The side has space for charger at the bottom and the top has a hole. The back is black with an Apple with bite taken out of it. The script is iPhone/8GB in a square/designed by Apple in California assembled in China Model No A1241/series of safety symbols.

Historical information

Released in 2008, the iPhone 3G was a widely anticipated model after the wildly successful iPhone. It was twice as fast and half the price. Apple Inc. was founded in 1976 and found its first successes with the Apple and Macintosh computers. However, they faced stiff competition from heavyweights like IBM and Microsoft. It was not until the launch of the first iPhone in 2007 that Apple cemented its industry lead. The iPhone was a game changer. It laid the foundation for the modern smartphone and its significance cannot be underestimated. It forever changed the way humans interacted with technological devices and with each other.
This phone was owned by Christen Bell who worked at the City of Armadale and used the phone for personal and work related phone calls and taking photographs between c2009 and 2013.
