Commemorative Coronation Saucer for King George & Queen Mary 1911
1911A white saucer with a gold band around the edge, the gold is worn off in parts. In centre of the saucer is a picture of Queen Mary and King George with the Royal Coat of Arms in between them with the Crown on top, Lion and Unicorn rampant, thistle and roses underneath. Under the picture of Queen Mary and King Georg is a picture of a knight in armour on a white horse slaying a dragon. Above and on either side of Queen Mary and King George are the British Flag and the Royal Coat of Arm flags in pairs. Underneath the pictures of Queen Mary and King George s is a blue and gold ribbon scroll.
The saucer was bought for George Norrish by his mother Rose Norrish.

Above the ribbon scroll on the right hand side in black lettering is "COPYRIGHT".
Under the picture of Queen Mary and King George in the blue ribbon scroll is "LONG MAY THEY REIGN" and on either side is "JUNE 22nd" and on the right is "1911."
Above the picture of the knight is "KING GEORGE & QUEEN MARY" and underneath the picture is "CROWNED JUNE 22ND 1911".
