Front: The photograph of the house was taken from the side, showing part of the front room and the side of the verandah, looking towards the picket fence. The verandah has a decorative timber upper section in the form of arches. A mass of hydrangeas appear along the wall and verandah and in front of the fence.
Reverse: Handwritten note: 'My Garden Feby 1951'
