c. 1930 - 1989Rectangular metal sign. White paint with patches missing and black text [PAVILION]. Screw holes near each corner with two other sets of screw holes evenly placed along length. Text silk screened into place. One of three signs that make up [BEDFORDALE / RESERVE / PAVILION].
Sign used to identify the Bedfordale Community Hall. The sign was used from c1930s through to the 1980s. The first Bedfordale Hall was built in c1895 and replaced with a brick structure in c1900. The building was used for a variety of community events including the Bedfordale Agricultural Show from 1913. The site also featured community tennis courts.

The sign represents the important roll community halls played in helping being communities together as it was a public space where public and private events were held as well as hosting community social and sporting groups.
