Overview

Certificate: Ornately decorated certificate which reads 'Subiaco Municipal Council - Presented to H.H. Tulip Esq in recognition of services rendered as councillor for East Ward 27.3.1912 to 30.11.1915. Dated 14 Dec. 1915.'
The certificate is illustrated mostly in brown, gold and blue colours, and includes drawings of flowers as well as the Subiaco Municipality Crest. The certificate also prominently features illustrations of the Subiaco Rotunda, the original Council Chambers building and Fire Station, and an as yet unidentified building.
It is signed by the Mayor, J.T. Guy, and the Town Clerk, Chris Luth.
Frame: Carved wood frame with white mount under glass.

Historical information

Note: This certificate was previously deaccessioned, but came back to Museum framed - probably by funds from Subiaco Historical Society and was originally displayed on the wall in front room.
