John Curtin (1885–1945) was an Australian politician who served as the 14th prime minister of Australia from 1941 until his death in 1945.
(Dame) Dorothy Margaret Tangney (1907-1985) was the daughter of Eugene Tangney (c.1877-1961) and Ellen Augustine Shanahan (c.1875-1946).
