Overview

Mottled brown covered photo album consisting of 23 thick cardboard pages tied together with brown lacing. The front cover has 'Portraiture' inscribed across the lower right hand corner. 21 of the pages have photographs attached to both sides. The photographs are of family and friends in front of houses, in gardens, in the country, at the beach and at in front of a major reservoir. Photographs in the second half of the album are labelled with names, dates and locations and are of visits interstate. (1940 - 1949). Several items are loose in the album: family photographs and 2 coloured pictures of Queen Elizabeth II.
The album has been digitised with the individual images added as digital photographs. (See 2024.1)
