Australian-American Association Perpetual Trophy - West Australian Baseball League Premiers 1976-1990
This Australian-American Association perpetual trophy, in the shape of a shield, is made of grained, brown timber. A central shield-shaped silver metal plaque is engraved with the name of the trophy, the presenter and the sports association. At the top of the trophy is a silver metal ribbon scroll banner, with the engraved name of the trophy presenter. Twenty smaller silver metal shields are arranged around three sides of the wooden trophy. Of these, 15 are engraved with the name of premiership clubs, from 1976 to 1990.

This trophy commemorates the Premier teams of the West Australian Baseball League from 1976 to 1990.
This item had been in the possession of Baseball WA and was passed to the Baseball WA Museum & Archives.
The perpetual trophy acknowledges the outstanding achievement of premiership clubs involved in the sport of baseball in Western Australia. It records when they were involved, their accomplishment and award. Of historic as well as social significance, it preserves, exhibits and promotes Western Australian baseball history and heritage.
