PHOTOGRAPH (COPY): PORTRAIT OF A MAN AND WOMAN, CIRCA 1914
c. 1914Black and white copy of a portrait of a man and woman. The woman is standing on the right, dressed in a light-coloured, long sleeved dress, with her hand rested on the shoulder of the man sitting in front of her. The man is seated to the left of the image, and is dressed in a suit, waistcoat and tie, with a badge pinned to the lapel of his suit.
The original large photographs were found in the loft of a house in Subiaco that used to be a photographic studio. Attempts were made to identify the photographer and subjects without success. Perhaps the photos were never collected by the subjects. Uniforms are 1914, so probable that rest of photographs of this era. All copy photographs show bad condition of original, marks, edges missing.
