div>1999.324.2 PHOTOGRAPH: PORTRAITS - CHILDREN B and W copy photographs of children a) young boy in buttoned jacket with round collar. Hair is short with three pronged fringe. Boy looks serious. B) Two children, a girl and boy. Girl is wearing long sleeved shirt and shorts with straps over shoulders. Her hair is in ringlets. She is sitting on a log. Seated on the ground is a younger boy. He is wearing shorts with a short sleeved shirt. Both children are bare foot. There is a bucket and long handled spade on the left of the photograph. The photograph is posed. See P99.117a-m

Historical information

Enlargement in Box N. The original large photographs were found in the loft of a house in Subiaco that used to be a photographic studio. Attempts were made to identify the photographer and subjects without success. Perhaps the photos were never collected by the subjects. Uniforms are 1914, so probable that rest of photographs of this era. All copy photographs show bad condition of original, marks, edges missing.
