PHOTOGRAPH: FORMALLY DRESSED MOTHER WITH TWO DAUGHTERS
c. 1914Black and white copy of a photograph of a mother and her two young daughters, both holding bouquets of flowers. The woman is wearing an ankle-length dress with a belt and a broad brimmed hat, as well as two necklaces. The two girls are dressed identically in long-sleeved dresses with corsages, broad brimmed hats, and long white socks with black shoes. The original photograph appears to have been damaged at the bottom right corner.
The original large photographs were found in the loft of a house in Subiaco that used to be a photographic studio. Attempts were made to identify the photographer and subjects without success. Perhaps the photos were never collected by the subjects. Uniforms are 1914, so probable that rest of photographs are of this era. All copy photographs show bad condition of original, marks, edges missing.
