Kodak Instamatic 33 Camera
c. 1968 - 1973Rectangular metal box with leather covering. On the front there is round metal and glass lens, with a glass viewfinder in the top right hand corner. It is surrounded by plastic and the front panel is aluminium. On the top there is a round film winder and a metal bracket to hold a light meter, on the back there is a small square viewfinder in the left hand corner and a long rectangular clear plastic panel to view the type of film being used. On one end there is a small metal catch which opens the back to access the film and at the opposite end there is a metal bracket to hold a strap.

The Kodak Instamatic 33 camera was made between 1968 and 1973, manufactured in England. The models of Kodak Instamatic Cameras were first introduced in 1963, featuring an easy to use film cartridge, which brought amateur photography to new heights of popularity. More than 59 million Instamatic Cameras were produced by 1970.
