On top is a small square, black cube with a glass front and back which acts as the viewer. A long, thin, black, cloth strap is attached to the main body of the camera on both sides.

Historical information

The Polaroid EE 44 Land Camera was made in the 1970's and manufactured in the United States. Polaroid cameras were an immediate sensation as it produced an instant photograph. Edwin Land is credited with the invention of the Polaroid camera in response to his daughter's desires to see the family holiday pictures as quickly as possible.
