Contextual Information

The City of Wanneroo Community Kangaroo was used as a symbol to promote "SAFER CITIZENS" and was displayed on promotional material which was distributed at City events and to school groups. It was also in costume form that was used for school groups. "SAFER CITIZENS" ceased to operate in November 2004 and "RANGERS" became the group co-ordinated by the City.
