TENNIS RACQUET: WOODEN, FLAT OVAL SHAPE
c. 1935Wooden tennis racuet with a flattened oval shaped head. Paint is badly chipped, and only flakes of red, grey white and cream remain. Gut is natural colour, with thin blue gut reinforcing, and red black and gold binding. Hand grip is brown leather with a hole pattern. Racquet was used by Mr and Mrs J E Mitchell of 11 Rankin Road, Shenton Park for social tennis.
