Historical information

Jean Bond (nee Batten) was a resident of the suburb of Wexcombe in the City of Swan. Houses at Wexcombe were constructed from Nissan huts, the suburb began life as a military camp and then became accommodation for workers at the Western Australian Government Railway Workshops. The houses were demolished to make way for the suburb of Stratton and bush reserve.
