1914 - 1918First World War Silk Postcard with “’Right is Might’ embroidered below the allies’ flags of Russia, France, United Kingdom, Italy and Belgium in the centre of the postcard. There are two (2) sprays of small flowers, one on the left-hand and one on the right-hand side of the postcard. The manufacturer’s name is printed on the back.
Embroidered silk postcards were made in France during the First World War to send home from the military front to family or sweethearts as a way of keeping in touch. J.M. Tatessault was a prolific maker of postcards in Paris during the war.
