Overview

Black and white studio portrait (head and shoulders only) photograph of Private Charles William FIEDLER which has been glued onto backing cardboard with an embossed edge. He is not wearing a hat but is wearing the ‘Rising Sun’ badge on his collar and the 11th Battalion patch on his left arm. There is a drawing pin hole on the bottom edge.

Historical information

Part of a collection of military memorabilia donated to the museum commemorating the service of two sons and a nephew of the FIEDLER family. Private Charles William FIEDLER, 3326; Private Harold FIEDLER, 6337; Private John Frederick FIEDLER, 3485.
