Carte-de-Visite of a young woman and child
c. 1867Studio portrait of a seated well dressed young woman with a child placed on a draped stand.
Although the woman and child are not identified, the photograph has come from a family whose descendants lived at Greenough. The donor also gave us another photograph of this woman taken much the same time, but with no photographer named.
We know from newspaper ads that R. Wilson, the photographer, had a studio in Fremantle between July and October 1867.
