COURSE CONSTRUCTION MAY 1968

These seven black and white photographs dated 13th May 1968 show scenes of the course construction and one of the unsealed entry road into the golf course.

The photographs have been obtained from negatives that have been professionally scanned. The negatives were in an envelope suggesting that they may have been donated by, and perhaps also taken by, foundation member Elsie Maurice.

Of the course photographs, three have their location identified but the others are unknown. In the unknown image numbered 3 a bore pump can be seen in the middle on the far side of the cleared area.

The image of the entry road suggests that work is been undertaken to prepare it for sealing.
