Historical information

The Rotary Club of Armadale-Neerigen was started in 1982 and was original called the Rotary Club of Neerigen. The club was made up of local residents who owned local businesses or held professional careers. They came together as a service club with the aim to raise money for causes that aligned with the values of the organisation. This included sponsoring visiting students from around the world.
This badge was given to one of the clubs members when they attended the 2003 Rotary International Convention in Brisbane. Many members enjoyed collecting badges from Rotary events and other clubs.
