Journal with dark blue covers and leather binding to spine with LEDGER in gilt. Marbled end papers. Grey pages with blue horizontal lines and 7 pink vertical lines forming 7 columns. Pages numbered in top corner 1 -166. Pages 94-157 have been removed. Hand-written entries in ink.

Historical information

This ledger was kept by J.S. Maley at Greenough and provides a list of cart owners at Greenough for 1887, as well as the Maley family accounts for their private house and the Golden Sheaf Hotel. It also includes accounts from a wood cutter named Ah Vay.
