c. 1910B/W Print. Side elevation of a large weatherboard and iron home with gabled roof. Wide eaves protect two open casement windows. A third, larger window has a shade with lattice trim. French doors open off a verandah where three women are seated. A small girl in dark dress and white pinafore is pedalling a tricycle on the drive which is bordered by strappy-leafed plants.
83 Bay View Terrace was built in 1902, by Mr. George Temple Poole. The house was home of David Forrest and family until 1942. Called Minderoo, which was also the name of their sheep station in the north west. By the 1950s the 12 room house on one & a quarter acres had been divided into two flats. The property, including a small brick dwelling on the same lot, was put up for auction in 1951
