MEWS, EDITH & OSBORNE, DONALD
c. 1925B/W print. Edith Grace Mews with her grandson Donald Osborne. A tall white-haired lady in a floral skirt and top with a white collar and ties, and wearing black shoes, is holding the hand of a small boy and nursing a small black and white dog. The boy is bare footed and in light coloured shorts and shirt. They are standing in front of a raised verandah/balcony with post and arched woodwork underneath. There is a box and timber behind them and a tree on the left.
Edith Grace Mews marrieed James John Mews in 1903. she was his second wife. The couple moved to claremont in 1912 and lived at 12 Victoria Avenue. The house was called Waratah.
