PHOTOGRAPH: WOMAN WITH HER CHILDREN
The image shows a woman standing on the garden path in front of the entrance to a house holding the hands of two little girls. The woman is dressed in white - a long skirt and a blouse with a high neck and puffed sleeves. The girls wear white frocks and shoes. The house has a large protruding front room with three tall windows. There is a half verandah with fancy iron lacework under the gutters and around the timber posts. The lower half of the verandah is enclosed with an iron lacework panel. Two flower pots sit on concrete posts on either side of the front steps. Handwritten information on the back states that she is Mrs Jones, the first female resident of Subiaco, but this is doubtful.
Note: only one image scanned.
