House built for Captain Fredrick Douglas 1880. Now at 137 Brunswick Road Albany. Photo shows a family group of four women, one holding a baby standing in front of the veranda of a single storey Victorian house, immediately behind the gate in the picket fence. Two toddlers are standing outside the gate and a third one is next to the fence at the extreme RH edge of the photo appearing to run towards the camera.
